St. Louis, MO (AHN) -- Bronson Arroyo won his first game since last Sept. 12 and Edwin Encarnacion had a pair of doubles and two RBIs as the Cincinnati Reds won their third straight game with a 4-3 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on Monday.
Arroyo (1-3) allowed six hits, three runs and three walks with six strikeouts in six innings. Francisco Cordova finished for his fourth save.
Adam Dunn, Brandon Phillips and Ken Griffey Jr. all had two hits apiece for the Reds.
Rick Ankiel was 2-for-5 for the Cardinals with his fifth home run. Albert Pujols and Chris Duncan also had two hits apiece. Pujols has a 12-game hitting streak.
